feather duster or some other type of tube worm. Filter feeder.
Is it reef safe? I thought it was some type of coral. Any advice on it. The guy tried to touch it and it shot back inside itself

Yes they are reef safe. I have some feather dusters I got as hitch hikers on coral. Small ones. No special care that I'm aware of. They seem to do fine

very safe,, it will feed on whatever is floating in the water column... I have hundreds of tiny ones that just spawned in my tank...

They are reef safe. I've never kept one myself, but having looked at a few threads about caring for them on the forum and a random scientific article, most of the time they seem to do fine with just corals foods (though feeding phyto has been shown to help them grow better).

To be more specific, it looks like a campfire feather duster worm.
