Yes, it is. So, any device that can look at website should work.

One thing I don't like the Apex fusion is that it takes awhile to update. I've noticed it myself and I've stop relying on it for monitoring status that require immediate attentions. For control is OK. The numbers or status showing on it is not live.

Once I had a troubleshooting session with Apex tech support with the ATO was not working right, they told me do not use fusion to watch for the sensor status. It could be delayed for minutes.

Yes, many folks do and in fact some mount the tablet somewhere on there display or around the sump as a APEX display/control panel. Cool idea.

If you want to use the tablet for a constant display, you can install Cyanogenmod onto the tablet to prevent the adds and such. I think this only works on the 2015 and ealier tablets.
