Does anyone know if its possible to wire a tunze osmolator pump to a normal plug? So you could use just the pump?

No its a 12 dc pump from memory - you probably could find the right ac/dc power adapter & do it that way tho

Yes i just did this. Runs off of DC. I took and old dc phone charger and wired it up. I think that it was around 10 volts dc.

@Brew12 this is in your wheelhouse.

That pump likely needs more than just a plug to provide the proper electrical current for it. I also don't think it would make a good pump for general use because mine is pretty loud, even in a bucket hidden inside a cabinet.

When my osmolator died, I wired the pump directly to the power supply from the osmolator and continued to use the pump on a different controller.

I used this method for a long tome, but I have only found the tunze pump to last maybe 2-4 years and after replacing it several times (wiring each one into the old power supply) I finally replaced it with something different this time.

It is a 9VDC pump so you would need a 9VDC power supply that is large enough to meet the motors ratings. Unfortunately, I don't know how much power it uses.

Odds are that a 12VDC power supply would work, also. It will just shorten the pumps life.
