So what is the verdict on these? I just got some, but I can't find much info on the conditions they need. Low light and low flow is all I can find?

+1 - My buddy has a nice colony of these under 400-500 par and they look sweet.

So under my 150w phoenix, it can't really be too high up?

i have mine 4 inches under the water with a 250w mh lol...mine grow decently quick for me, but from what i've heard they are generally slow...i am a strong believer in vitC dosing though too

Mine is about middle of the tank under 250w 20k ushio. I think color could be better. I also have a frag in another tank under 250w 20k radium at the bottom, color is really bright but lost some red on the skirts. They seem to grow pretty fast for me.
