5 months old.

how i can do to raise no3 and po4?

its a 40 gallon with 2 clown, starry blenny and yellow coris wrasse.

im. just using carbon and skimmer rated for 60g (overkill?)


i do wc once a months to replenish all nutrients. no dosing

You can feed more. Take the skimmer off line for 4-5 days. Or dose sodium nitrate and seachem's flourish phosphorus. 5 ppm N03 and 0.02 P04 is best with new tanks.

i have been test my water and my nitrates are undetectable and my phosphate 0.009

I see a few problems. Besides alk being on the high side, your corals desperately need some nutrients. You could try feeding Reef Chili or Reef Roids to raise the nutrients.

When I set up a new tank, I moved my Duncan and Candy Cane into it and they are thriving. But I used old live rock from my other tank which is leaching phosphates. I also added 2 small fish to help feed the corals. So a newer tank can support LPS if nutrients are present. You also might consider raising your calcium a little as well as mag. My calcium stays at 420 and mag at 1350. Good luck.

most ppl tell me they love high flow.

They don’t mind being in an area with decent flow but if they getting hit by a lot of direct flow they may stay closed up. How long has the euphyllia above them been in the tank? It doesn’t look to be very extended either.
