Hi everyone!
My candy cane coral looks to be changing color and I’m not sure why. Some parts of the coral are a little more swollen and appear to be on the pink side. Anyone had this happen?

My parameters are:
Alk: 8.5
Calcium: 415
Mag: 1350
Nitrate: 30ish
Phosphate: 0

I know phosphate should not be 0 but I’ve had that reading for the longest time and I have never had an issue with this coral

Thanks!

Could be a light thing. Corals can change from one tank to the next.

The are fat and fluffy so I would say they are good.

It varies under different spectrums and can appear green, blue or bluish green

Sorry me again…

My CC coral seems to be losing flesh at the base (see image I included). Could it be too high flow? I recently changed position of the power head and might be hitting it too strongly.

I tested my parameters and all are similar to my first post except for my nitrate which I overestimated previously. It now reads 17 with my recently purchased Hanna checker
