I bought a candy cane coral frag about a week ago and just noticed it is starting to show the skeleton. I tested parameters today they are 0 nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, ph is 7.8,salinity 1.026.
Check out the before and after pictures below. I moved the coral from the bottom to the middle section of my tank. Water flow does not seem too fast. I do have a Cyanobacteria in the tank too. I also use reef crystals to make saltwater. It’s a 32 gallon biocube led aquarium.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thank you reefers

I use the factory led lights from the biocube 32 gallon. It starts at 7:30 ramp up 30 min and goes to 6:00pm and then blues are on to 10:45pm when it shuts off for the night. Hope this helps answer your Question.
Thanks Kevin

Reduce your light schedule to 8hrs total. Need to increase your nutrients, N03 to 5-10ppm and P04 to .02.
