This guys been happy and gotten a lot bigger. I fed him tonight and it’s the first time it’s changed shape like this. Can you over feed?

That is their feeding response. They are fine. They will close up if do not want the food, so as long as you are not forcing food down the mouth, you are fine. Just do not overfeed for tank parameter issues can arise.

Hello gang, new to corals so need someone to take a look at these two and reassure me that it’s normal. Both are for one week in the 50g tank/Orbit Marine and Orbit IC LED lights. PH-8.4/Ammonia-0/Nitrite-0 ppm/Nitrate-5.0 ppm. Dosing Reef Complete and Reef Trace 5ml once a week. Tank is one month+ old. Much appreciated.

Looks like you may have a case of flatworms. Those orangish dots. Pain in the butt. A few ways to rid the tank of them. If you do not have many corals or inverts, you can use flatworm exit. Otherwise a few fish love to eat them up. Many wrasses. However, in a 50g, I would suggest a six line or eight line or four line wrasse. Others are too large.

Corals look okay though. Seem to be closed, but probably adjusting.

I was actually getting a whip fin fairy wrasse, would she help? I have a healthy nem so really wouldnt like any unnecessary chems in there. What do you think?
