Candy Cane Coral Tissue receding then bubbling?

Hey guys!
I have a candy cane coral that’s been in my tank for over a year, and just within 2 days started receding a bunch bottom up, but the thing that has me most confused is how the tissue between heads looks like it’s bubbling up. I have a torch that’s bleached out from a heat wave, a Duncan that’s living it’s life to the fullest, Zoas, acans, ricordia Yuma mushroom and Cyphastrea that are all growing out and are multiplying.

Alk: 5.6 (I’m working on this)

Calcium: 395
Phos: 0.05
Nitrate: 0.2

I don’t know much about these corals however is it maybe shedding?

Leathers shed their outer layer to get rid of algae, pests ect.. maybe candy canes do the same?

The candy canes look fluffy and happy. Don't change anything , and keep an eye on it. Check it again in 3-4 days and look for changes in tissue recession. From the description of the other corals in your tank, I wouldn't worry too much. I've had candy cane bubble the same, (between the heads) when fully extended and happy. Any new fish or crabs added recently?

Candy canes don’t shed. I have no idea what this is though lol. They close up when they are mad or being pestered. Mine are huge and have never done this. Pics are now vs 6 months ago. I would suggest looking into tissue damage from a cuc member or fish.

EDIT: CC are my indicator coral. They’re dag on near indestructible but they are the first corals to start showing signs of being mad about my parameters or the fish messing with them.

My CCs look like crap. Skeleton is showing, barely any tissue left and I dont know why.. I think it might be because of a pest but I dipped them 2 days ago but not much came off other than 2 small worms.
