Should I be concerned with this coral? I got it on the 20th, I ordered it. The next day I dipped it and it was really puffy(seller said it was the biggest one they had). I did gently blow some stuff that was on it. I'm not sure what it was and it shrunk. I assumed it would get puffy again but didn't.

It does extend sweeper tentacles at night but stays relatively smaller. And then also, with this I saw a clear hole through it, should I be concerned with that? I have another with it too(ordered two more) and that ones has another coral coming out. Should I do anything or should I leave it in a corner away from flow? I moved it twice once from the corner and then next to the other two I got.

What is your PO4 and what tests do you use? I'm not familiar with that light as to how much par you are getting. I assume the tank is 12-15" high. Maybe move the coral to lower light. They like around 90-100 par. Probably getting used to your tank. You will need to get the nitrate up. Also alk is high. Are you using Reef Crystal's? Maybe an email to the seller to see what parameters it was under.

My phosphates are at 0, I've tried literally everything to raise both of them, this coral is the only one that looks like this compared to the the other two I have which are puffy and not shrunk. My tank is 15" high. I try to do less water changes and dose the tank with reef roids as I heard that increases both phosphate and nitrate but they always come back undetectable. I use salifert to test for everything.

How old is this tank? For the first year of my tank I had to dose PO4. Used neophos initially then made my own dosing solution with calcium phosphate tribasic.

It's four months as of this month. Before I could detect both nitrate and phosphates but I can't now. I had upgraded my 7 month 10 gallon to a 14 gallon.

I think it needs to settle in for a few days in lower light. Let's get some other opinions.

@ReefSquad
I'm just really concerned as it didn't puff back up like before because the first photo is what it is suppose to look like. I would love more opinions and thoughts.
