Hello, I have a Candy cane Coral that I purchased 2 days ago. After putting it in the tank it looked fine. After one full day in my tank it started to look like the picture... turning white slightly. To me it looks like it’s dying but I am unsure. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If it’s not fully white there is a chance for it to recover. I’d try moving it in a bit of a shaded spot and see if that works lps don’t like a ton of light .

Where is it in your tank? My candy canes love light. My biggest colony is halfway up in my tank and has grown almost 30 heads since last year. There may also be something picking at it. My best guess though is it’s cleaning itself. Mine expel water all the time and look like crap for a few hours

@Zoa_Fanatic its been almost a year. You were correct. Increased light. Doesn’t have 30 heads but has gained 4 heads. Sorry for an incredibly delayed response. Thought I’d give an update.
