Candy Cane Flow Question

Just out of curiosity, is this candy cane demonstrating that it is in a higher flow region than necessary? I had to kick up the flow on the pumps to pull flow over my zoas on the bottom. Here is what the candy cane looks like now:

You can see that it is fully extended and happy, but it is being swept back on one side. When the flow was lower, it looked like this:

Would it be beneficial to tuck it back in the nook above it a little so that the flow isn’t hitting it as much? This would be the return stream and not the free stream outflow of the MP40.

Also, it could be very happy, but it doesn’t have a colony around it to support its large head!

Too much flow- should be like leaves flowing in the wind- Moderate as well as moderate light. I feed mine Mysis shrimp 2x a week
