Candy cane has shrimp molt

My lights have been out a couple of hours but I noticed my candy cane coral has taken hold of my shrimps molt. Is this ok? Should I just let play out?

So what did you end up doing?
It would be fine either way, leave it in or take it out. If you left it, it would likely be dissolved by this morning.

I never touch my shrimps molt I always leave it in where ever it goes it goes

Personal choice on leaving them or removing. I removed them from my tanks when I had shrimp, just for aesthetics. But leaving it doesn't hurt either.
