Hi there..I purchased this beautiful specimen about 4 days ago. I have it in the sand bed and well I just don't know if its doing ok. I have another trumpet coral that I have had afew days longer and it seems to be puffing up and doing great...fed it some mysis shrimp and it kept extending his tentacles like it was asking for more. Lol.

Anyways...here is the kyrtopnite (i think) candy cane.

it looks ok to me. Some just take time to adapt to the chemistry in the tank and all need some time to adjust to the new light.

Eh, it looks ok, but not spectacular. What kinds of light are you using? I have found that the super green ones are extremely sensitive to light changes.

That being said, mine have looked like that and recovered just fine after a couple of days to a week, after acclimating to new light. You're probably giving it more light than it was used to, but not enough to cause a serious problem. Do its tentacles extend at night?

Thank you...I am using stock Biocube LED so Im sure its not used to them. I will keep an eye out for the tentacles...haven't seen any yet. This isnt the final location but just wanted it low enough to avoid too much flow.

Thanks.

Got these and had no flesh on the outsides and thought were different and payed off. When they inflate it's awesome. The pink 1s I got 1st and were almost all skelly. So give em lower flow. Looks like you just fed them and is eating

Keeping my fingers crossed.
IF(again)IF, it looks like it is getting pale(bleaching), just reduce the amount of time the lights are on. probably going to be just fine.
