candycane.jpg tank 1.jpg tank2.jpg My tank is still pretty new (just over 6 months) and everything has been going well. However, one of the polyps on my candy cane is shrinking. Everything else is the tank seems to be doing great.
Nitrite-0, Nitrate-5, PH-9, Phosphate-.25, ammonia-0, calcium 400, salinity 1.023
Temp is 78.9.
It lower flow as I have it under the power head.
I'm not really sure what to do as the other polyps seem to be doing great. They even have they tentacles out today. Any advise...

The tentacles are out but are green looking where the others are more clear looking.

Picture looks blurry. Looking closely at it tissue. Hard to tell, but looks like there's something on it.

Try for a more clear picture.

By the way, your SG is low. Should be 1.026. how are you measuring SG?

Refractometer. Friday I’ll be doing a water change. It’s usually a little higher, around 1.025 but I took off the lid. Don’t know if that has anything to do with it but I ‘m having to top off a lot more. I think I will put lid back.

At this point it could be from lack of light. Like I said, it's hard to see up close it's tissue.

Don't believe it's SG related as well, but at some point down the road I would add a ATO system to your tank.

Must be candy cane night. It is hard to see if it’s just not happy or has an issue. Follow flippers4pups and can’t go wrong.

Nitrate and mainly a little high and salinity is low. SLOWLY. . . . . slowly. . . . . bring down PH and raise salinity to: 1.025-1.026.
Lights seem quite bright. Lower white to 20% and increase Blue to 75%. You should see a big change
