Candy Cane Pistol vs Blue leg hermits

Soooo I just saw my pistol trying to drag one of my new blue leg hermits into his lair. Is this common? Or do I just have a rogue pistol who's grown too big for his britches? Is indication he isn't being fed enough or something? I don't target feed him at all.

Just curious if this will be a problem I'll continually have. As much as I love the pistol I love the hermits as part of my CUC lol.

To clarify: The hermit he went after is about the same size as the shrimp. So possibly just a turf war? Most of my hermits are that size so I'd prefer not to continually replace them to keep some in my tank.

Not so much decoration as construction material. They use empty shells, rubble, etc to reinforce their tunnels sometimes.

Very interesting, I've never seen mine do that before. I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens. Thanks for the info!
