Candy cane suddenly changed shape

My candy cane has become triangle shaped. Is it preparing to split or is something wrong with it?

I think it looks completely normal. When we had our colony one of ours was the shape of a heart.

Thanks. Just wanted to be sure. And was kinda hoping it was getting ready to form a new head. Lol. I've had it 3 months and was hoping for some new heads soon.
