We have 8 candy cane corals and I heard they have feelers but never seen them. We added a new one and observed this today. Is it common for only one to extend their feelers while others do not do it?

will they be fine by eachother? When we place on our Rocks should we leave 4 inches away from other corals?

Video works fine on my PC.

Multiple candy canes will be fine together. My experience is that they don't have the ability to reach out and sting anything, but those tentacles are longer than I ever saw on mine.

Mine were out during tank feedings and at night, as in they are trying to capture food. Feel free to give them some Mysis.

I feed mysis twice a day and feed corals twice a week with reefroids.

Do you spot feed the heads of the candycanes? The tentacles are for feeding, not stinging, is what I was trying to say.
