Hi Reefers,

I just wanted to get any advice/explaination on whether this is an actual issue or not. I recenty noticed that when my lights are off my candy cane has tenticles /feeders (not sure). I have attached a pic and no changes have been made to tank.

Many thanks

that's not an issue, at all, actually. it's normal. when the lights go out, most corals send out feeder tentacles to catch whatever particles float around in the water column, for them to feed on.

hence why it's better to feed your corals after the main lights go out (during blue lights, too). it's fun to watch! :D
