Hi just had a question I got these 2 candy corals like almost a year ago and they haven't grown at all same heads. I got 2 types the kryptonite and the blue green candy the are very puffy and look happy I get reefroids and they do eat alot when I spot feed but I haven't seen them bud off at all. Mind you my acros and other sps and lps are growing just fine acros are taking off. Any thoughts?

I've got a caulastrea that has only gotten bigger; has not grown any off-shoots/heads. Since its stony, alk, ca and mg come into play and has increased perhaps 25-30% in size since I've been maintaining those 3. Are you monitoring/maintaining those?

I have a kryptonite and a pinstripe. It was at about a year before they started splitting heads. The one I bought with two heads and now is four. The other was one head and is now five. You might be on the cusp of seeing heads splitting.

bought a toxic green with two heads about a year ago, I have maybe like 20 heads now. I think it really depends on placement + waterflow. I personally do not spot feed any of my corals as that may result is over feeding.. I broadcast feed benepets twice a week

April 13th of this year and today. When you see a second opening on a head you will know it’s getting ready to split. At least that was my experience

Feed them mysis shrimp- Roids does nothing for them and assure your phosphate is not running high level as roids will cause that.
