canister filter?

what would you recommend putting inside a fluval 406 filter to run as a qt tank? i was gonna take a load of sand out of my already cycled cube and put in a few containers to help seed the take better, as im taking out my rock either selling it or discarding it and starting over

I'm running a Marineland canister on my qt tank, alls I have in it is some mechanical filtration. Why can't you just dry the rock out and save it instead of throwing it away?

i cant stand the rock anymore, bryopsis is taking it over aswell as hair algae and other stuff is on it when i bought it. would rather give it away then keep it at this point its too much of a hassle and i cant beat the bryopsis

nope at this point i dont want nothing to do with the rock, i want a fresh new start and do it right . learing from my mistakes this time

Start with Carib Sea Life rock and end your worries.
It's not cheap but it's worth every penny. Shop around MarineDepot often has it on sale.
