Hello to everybody. I am new to the forum. I am getting into the hobby again after long 25 years of having taken apart my last reef. It is amazing the amount of technology available vs. the last time I was into reefs.
I am waiting for my gear to setup a 34g cube reef. One of the less enjoyable tasks are (obviously) water changes. So I came with the idea of having a DIY canister-like container (4gal.) conected to my sump. To make a swift WC I would close a ball valve a substitue completly the container full of old water with new saltwater.
My question is if this sounds like good idea or of it is actually a dumb one?
Well, nice to be here and I will be postin my developments.
