Cannon 80d setup

Hi not a buff on cameras but would appreciate pointing on the right direction…. Can’t get my colours to pop when taking photos under blue light…. And some of the colours you can’t even see…. I’ve got some coloured filters and have been playing around with ISO apature and whit e balance…… pictures still look too blue….
These are what I’ve my setting where when last tried, was just playing around to try and get it better….

Yeah, def use the colored filters -- orange is probably best. I'm not sure what WB setting is correct for the blue lights, and typically use AWB on my Mark III, then Lightroom and/or Photoshop for post to clean them up and make them look polished. ISO 16000 seems really high. What lens are you using?

That’s the lens I’m using…. Changes to iso 3200…. Got more colour but my purple zoa,s are yellow on camera

Tried orange, green and yellow….. When I use say the yellow filter it changes links to yellow and can’t seem to find settings on camera to sort it

That’s what I got…. Eye colour more towards a deeper red/purple and blue between the heads…

If I use orange can’t get any colours to show except orange lol

I'm not sure what would be causing such a difference in color. I use a fixed (as opposed to zoom) lens on mine -- EF 50mm F 1.4 because I like to get the bokeh and it's a good standard inexpensive lens. I have used it as low as F 1.4 and even then I haven't needed to use an ISO even close to that high.I start at ISO 100 or 200 and go up from there based on available light -- I am really averse to getting too much noise. On an overcast day photographing outside using natural light only and an F stop so low, I might need to go all the way up to ISO 1600 unless I have a tripod.

Have you tried putting the camera on auto and seeing what the result is? Wondering if it can adjust itself to the blue light and you might be able to get some ideas from those settings.

Got the hammers better with yellow filter…. But can’t get the different zoa colour to distinguish…. Have to try again to morrow…. Time for light off …. Will put it up tomorrow night again thanks

You just have to mess with the white balance more. I actually have he best results with b9,m9 or b2,m2 for white balance but also depends on spectrum or your lights I just my lights also to help with better picture, also have a cannon 80d take on 90 macro lens tamron

I set a specific white balance @ whatever the max for the camera is. Mine is 9900k. Then with an orange lens it gets me pretty close. That’s for all blue. I usually end up needing to dial the kelvin down with an orange filter for anything red or orange or it comes out false looking. I don’t usually have to adjust anything post to get it to look right, sometimes minor tweaks in Lightroom.

I use the yellow filter if needed for day light. For example my radion g5 blues we’re very blue even during the day so I’d use yellow. Now that I’m MH I use nothing. Just set to 9900k and it’s very close.
When I was try to auto white balance they’d come out similar where they were way off in color.

Start by shooting in A. Let the camera do some of the work for you

I’ll say I ordered a lens off Amazon and it was so thick/dark it was hard to get pictures to register any light under xho strips.

Looks like you're getting closer -- you'll get there.

Thanks I’ll try it later, you use the full coloured lenses or gradual ones?

I use a tiffen 8285b filter for my lenses and it brings out the true colors for me. Also I shoot in RAW it helps when I have to edit to get the right colors out of the picture.

No lenses. Some of the pics the wb is like b6, m2 etc. you can take a pick and after the picture is taken adjust the white balance on the camera and it gives you a new picture also. All shot with the tamron no lense just adjusted wb.
