I havent seen these or looked closely if I have.
I am going to build one for my 125 and need ideas or drawings for a simple one with tank access.
My LED's will be here tomorrow. I have the tools and ability would like to start asap.
Thanks

I know that Glass Cages can be a bit of a dirty word online, but I like how they do their canopies. The whole front lifts out to give you access to the entire inside. No hinges or anything; just one panel. It works for me.

Make sure it is 100% sealed up before putting it on the tank. otherwise the moisture wil warp it. I built one for my 180 and let it on for a few days before staining and sealing it. BIG MISTAKE. the whole top warped (it was one piece and opened up completely for maintenance. after installing aluminum and wood bracing, that hood latest for 6 years before I sold it. Great lid.

I have a GC one now. I really like it. the fronts come completely out and I can easily get my hands inside. it also lifts off easily too.

Thanks for the tip on GC. I called them this morning and they made me one up for pickup this afternoon.
For $200 it beat gathering materials and a bunch of head scratching! Gonna stain and seal with the warmer weather the next couple days.
