I sort of asked this question on another thread but didn’t get much response. Looking for LED to mount in canopy of 8 gallon tank. Just looking to grow and highlight Soft corals (GSP/Xenia). Suggestions on economical options?

If you can put a fan in the top or back or just have the top open or such then a kessil 80

pics of the canopy may help

Top is 12x12 in and I’m looking for something to mount on the inside. It’s completely sealed so I am a little worried about heat, but I know soft corals don’t require much light intensity.

I have this on a 20long with gsp xenia 2 clowns RBTA 1 small monti and some macro algae.

doesn't run cold, not hot either. Maybe you could pull out the leds and fit them in your hood? can't go too wrong for the price. the color is closer to full spectrum so the corals are not going to "pop" but it's all growing...

not sure what's going on with the link...
