I've been battling with aiptasia x but that seems to just make it spread worse.

Pretty sure peppermint shrimp get murdered by my 6 line.

I knows there's the option of a copperband butterfly but they have a high mortality rate and are expensive.

Do I have any other options?

try a aiptasia eating nudibranch

that and kalk paste do make it worse. it irritates the aiptasia and they release their babies. If you don't siphon out the paste and dead aiptasia you're just making it worse

I put a filefish in for my aiptasia and he mowed right through them. I did, however, notice him nipping at my lobophyllia, so I pulled him and put him in a separate tank.

I think Copper Bands aren't as delicate as made out to be.

Agreed, i have never had an issue with mine. I do feed black worms daily and my LFS sells Copperbands between $15 - $20 depending on size

Mine wants $75!

I'd buy in a heartbeat at that price.

Get rid of the 6 line. Kill off all of the big ones with kalk or aiptasia-X. Get a few peppermint shrimp.

Copperbands are hardy once established, but they can be hard to establish. This is why some people have no issue and some have a lot. They also need lots of pods and microfauna to eat.

In the UK berghia are very expensive and to boot very delicate. In all fairness your wrasses will eat them so it's either a fish which is hit and miss, you then have the dilemma of keeping Copperband alive. I'd remove the sixline and get a group of peppermint. I had 100% success with a group of 4 in 450 litres

Ive gone as far as pulling out all infected rocks. I hate those things with a passion. If i see just 1 on a rock the piece comes out

Berghia Nudibranch. But youd have to remove anything that may eat them like your 6 line and peppermint shrimp. They work but just take some time, 3-6 months.
