Cant figure out what these are

I've recently noticed these little white things growing mainly in the sump area. Only been in hobby for about a year and havent had many issues other then mean clownfish. any help would be greatly appreciated 20230412_185911.jpg 20230412_191608.jpg

Pineapple sponges - they’re common, harmless filter feeders. They typically boom then bust in population and go away on their own after a while.

Yup those are pineapple sponges like said above. Usually a good sign that the tank is maturing. Their population will balance out on its own.
