Can't figure out what this is

so I have had my tank almost 6 mouths and I have this strange thing growing at the base of my Duncan coral and in the sand around it can anyone please tell me what this is

Picture is not the greatest, but if the tube portion is calcified, and you might see "strings" coming out, I'm guessing vermitid snails.

If it's soft, potentially a sponge.

If it moves, a nudibranch.
 
How do I get rid of it it's nasty looking and I hate it lol [emoji24]
 
If vermitids, it's likely they have already populated the tank. I'd still pull the coral, remove it from the plug, and dip in any one of the coral dips. Also, break off any tubes still attached. Rinse in a container with tank water (twice), re attach to a new plug, and see what happens.
 
I am okay to touch it right won't get stung or anything i don't have any more plugs at this time let alone removed a coral before so I'll just take it out of tank scrape what I can and see what happens
