Can't get Ca level down

I overdosed a Ca buffer a few weeks ago, and I cannot get the Ca levels down...it's hovering around 500. I have done major water changes and still won't budge much.

My Alk is being maintained at around 8 with a buffer and my CA Reactor is running, but I turned off the CO2.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Have you tested the salt water you're adding to your system? Some of them can run quite high. At the moment if nothing is being irritated and you have corals that will utilize it I would just let it fall naturally

500 ppm is fine, and as noted, some salt mixes are even higher than that.

I wouldn't worry about it. Keep the carx running and stop dosing alk

I agree look at your salt. I use TM Pro and have to add alk to it or my calcium will be high 500s to get my alk to 8.5
