When I first got them they would turn on I'm an alternating fashion in w1. Now they turn on at the same time. I'm not sure if in/out of phase is a setting. How do I get them out of phase again? I'm having a hard time understanding the instructions, what is mode c for? Thanks for the help.

Mode "C" is for alternating (one on while the other is off). Mine also would loose sync given time. Also after a power outage their wireless master/slave relationship would be completely lost, so make sure that is established. Even with that established mine would loose sync on occasion. If I switched modes they would re-establish their sync.

I personally just started using my apex to control them, which avoids the need for the wireless sync that would fail for me.

Make sure the controllers are close enough if they get too far away from ea other they will lose sync

I run mine on w1 on opposite ends its the controllers that shouldnt be too far away from ea other

So for non c modes the pumps should be on the same side?

There are only three modes that are sync'ed. W1, W2, and C. Otherwise the only "sync" that will occur is ensuring they are on the same mode, and that if you hit feed it will apply to the slave pumps. Else will be independently random on each pump, and H is a constant flow (so there is nothing to sync besides the mode, since the flow rate is independently set per pump).

They are right next to each other under the stand. They seem to connect because the modes switch together, but they both turn on at the same time in w1.

With w1 they would both turn on at the same time. If you want one to be off while the other is on you want mode "C"
