Can't get my Apex to connect to my computer!

I just bought my Apex and I can't get the controller to connect with my computer. The controller keeps saying Apex Fusion: down. I tried all the different options the help screen said to do. I put an email into neptune but waiting to hear back I thought I would try reef to reef! Any help will be appreciated thanks!
