Got several new zoa frags, and all are doing great except my scrambled eggs. Anybody got any tips on placement? They sorta opened for a little while, but overall seem unhappy with where I've got them.

oh no! thats not good those eggs are going to spoil.

they tend to do better in higher light with a moderate amount of flow but not direct. do they have anything on them as a white film or they look sick ? scrambled eggs have always been hardy. i got a farm of them lol i love to cut them and regrow them , there such a beautiful zoa. Hope all goes well with them . !

I love them as well!! Been on my list for a while, and a guy local to me traded me. :) They don't seem to have anything on them. I know they were fragged recently (like less than a week ago), so that may be part of the issue. I'll try moving them to higher light and see if that makes 'em happy. Thanks, bud!

Scrambled eggs are better with Hot Sauce (Franks)! Where are they positioned? also, what is around them, and at night, do you see any pests on them like maybe a Zoa eating Nudi?

my scrambled eggs were doing the same thing when i first got them. did like rob&gab suggested. moved it to a little higher point with indirect flow. now its open and growin babies. good luck with yours. hope it opens up soon.

I Have some lower in the tank and higher in the tank and they are both open and thriving. Medium flow on both. They took a little bit to open when I first introduced them
