Can't get Zoa to stay on plug

A few polyps of my zoas broke off the main rock. I caught it and super glued to frag, outside of the water. I tried drying the bottom part of the zoa before gluing to dry frag. Left it there for maybe half a minue and put it into the water. I didn't want to leave it out for too long.

The zoa did not stay, it fell off the glue. three times I tried.

help? The piece of zoa is not mounted to any rubble or anything. I want to put it on a frag.

should stick good with the gel superglue. low flow in the frag tank is needed.

I am using Scotch's super glue- gel version. Just enough to cover the bottom of the zoa.

I've been using super glue gel by gorilla glue with no problems, dry the area with a towel, glue, wait 30 seconds stick in tank.

Try using a bigger blob.

When fragging zoas, try to break the rock and not try to peel it. That way, you are glueing substrate instead of the soft part of the coral. When I would get floaters I would try to surround it with glue. I hope it works out for you.

this was a floater, about 6 polyps on it. I will try again tonight, if I can find where it went to!

What I have done is glue it ( no rubble attached) and drip a few drops of water on it . Seems to help the glue set before I put it back in the tank .
