How many have you gone through?
How long do they last?
Water parameters?
Lighting?

Could look crappy due to aclimating? Mine still spends half the time inside out but my water flow and lights are good. Just acclimating to light i guess. Its been 2 weeks and he is just now coming around lol

4 months old led lighting white and blue color salinity .1023 ph is 8.0 ammonia is 0 PPM nitrite 0 PPM nitrate 0 PPM

This would be my 3rd bubble tip it lasted 2days smelled bad and fell apart

Salinity is a bit low. Shoot for 1.026.

Bonexriffic brings a good point. How long are they lasting? ICurrently have a LTA that took 3 weeks to finally plant and look good. Didn't move around, just never settled

Last acouple days till it falls apart and smells ill try to raise salinity to .1026

I haven't had luck with anemones either, except aiptasia! In my research of keeping them, most people recommend an older established tank of at least a year.

I would imagine something must be terribly wrong for them to only last 2 days. What other animals are living in your tank. Has any other stuff died besides anemones? It could also be a problem with the store you fot them from

I have a 40 gallon and a 120, I change 10 percent a week. I aim for .1026 salinity. Did you acclimate to your lower salinity? What kind of shrimp do you have? I had a peppermint that seemed to bother my BTA.

From what you said I don't get it unless just bad diseased or damaged stock to start with.
1) Your salinity is fine. Over the years I have raised them in tanks ranging from 1.022-1.026.
2) I would question the light that you refer to as just white and blue LED. Although I can't see them dying in just a couple days BTA's like a lot of light and have always been grown best under MH. Although the RBTA's I have now still grow and reproduce like weeds under Kessils.
3) I have only ever had one BTA die (that I recall) and that was recently when I sold a bunch and I damaged the foot on one removing it from the tank. Are you sure they are not damaged when you get them?
4) As far as long established tanks not true. I cycled my current tank in 2 weeks and started adding stock. The original RBTA in this tank was added sometime in the first 6 weeks and in 21 months with no effort turned in 16 RBTA's.

IMO tank is a bit young. BTA seem to do better in a tank that more established 8mo-1yr. What type of LED's?

Agree with store selling damaged nems. Even if lights wernt good enough ot would last more than 2 days imo

Side note i wouldnt do more than 2gal a week in water changes on a 15....too much could start a mini cycle

I would wait a while before trying again bc you mention they smelled and some toxins might
might be high in your tank. Do you run carbon?
