Can't keep phosphates up

Great input! I lowered my alk dosing a bit so it drops slowly, and it's getting down slowly. At 10.3 right now. Polyps seem to be extending better. I have been adding some extra food and dropping a clam on the half she'll I to the tank every other day. Crabs and fish love that! Test kit as of this morning show just a tiny hue of blue so phosphates exist some what. I may get a ulr phosphate Hanna do be certain. I don't trust my high range that I use to have to use lol.

And I also found a pair of these little buggers today snacking on a Digi colony after one of my neon green Poco colonies went white over two days. Wondering if these may be the reason for some of my latest troubles.

I've been going through something similar!

I'm dosing reef roids twice a day and can't keep my phosphate above 0 ppb.

I know it's because I run an oversized fuge, but without it my pH is too low.

My solution was to buy a scale and trisodium phosphate.

I'm now dosing about 0.3 ppm PO4 per day. To have it be more gradual, I have two water bottles in my dark fuge (one inside the other like Russian nesting dolls). Both bottles have one small hole and I dose Phosphate into the inner bottle. It slowly diffuses out thru the day. I dose 2x per day.
