Its okay to run it if you have a PO4 issue. I run GFO and ONLY run it when I need it. I use a 10th of the recommended amount and run it 24 hours to get my pO4 back to an undetectable range.

Since you are already at an undetectable PO4, you can run it but with a small amount if you want. You can also not run it and see how your tank responds. If you ever get passed 0.05 PO4, just run it again. Try to find that balancing point.

As for your NO3, take your lady out to a trustworthy LFS and pick out a nice fish :)

Is it okay to leave the gfo in the reactor? Probably not?
I turn off the valve every once in awhile, but never give a second thought to the water and gfo still sitting in the reactor.

Gfo is on a bag in the sump I run phosguard in the reactor

There is definitely such a thing as a tank that is too clean. Our 800 reef in the store had problems when it ran too clean. I would start feeding the corals more and get Nitrates to a detectable level of 2-3 ppm. We have had good luck feeding our SPS with Oyster Feast by Reef Nutrition.

IMO Mille's are a very tricky sps. I can throw any acro in my tank and it seems to do great, but mille's I really have to position correctly or they can have probs. Not all of them but quite a few. Once they find a spot and settle down they are a tough sps though, its just the beginning. What kind of light are you running? They generally like less light than other acro's. Also was it a mariculture or aquacultured mille?

Red planets are very resilient and can be kept in high light(more red and pink) or low light(more green). What lights are you using?

Also how are you checking phosphates? Why are you running phos and gfo?

I get advice to get my level undetectable that the reason i run gfo and phosguard

I personally remove the GFO completely. Having the GFO and water just sitting in there is probably not best for when you turn the reactor valve back on.

Undetectable PO4 is okay to have but still running PO4 remover once you have hit undetectable levels is not ideal. I do remember a lot of threads and people saying 0 this and 0 that is best. But that is not sure.

Ideal range:

PO4: 0.02 - 0.05
NO3: 3-8ppm
