I know that has been discussed lots of times. But I CANNOT get my anemones to get off my rocks. I have 4 of them... And have been trying to get 3 of them off for almost 2 hours with no success. I even had out hanging upside down out of the water for 45 minutes with just a little bit of it touching water thinking it would drop off into the bowl of water but it would not move... After 30 over 30 minutes i took an old soft bush and tried that method but then it seemed to recede deeper into the rock.. I have pointed powerhead at it for the same about of time with no movement... I worry the heavy flow is going to damage the dang thing. What else can I do to get them off my rock aside from having to try and chisel my rocks! Oh I also froze RODI water and put ice cubes on the dang thing when it was hanging upside down . I put rubble rock in the bowl so it could maybe drop and grab onto the rubble piece. Here is a picture i had it upside down for like 15 minutes... then i took it further out of the water for another 30 minutes.

PVC pipe over the top of it long enough to force it out of the rock to get to the light. Will be off within a few days.

Not sure what you mean by pvp pipe over it... as in stick the anemone in the hole of the pvc pipe?.... or shroud the light... what do you mean?

Yes, exactly this. Force it to crawl through the opening in the pipe to get direct light and it'll remove itself within a few days max.

hmm im not sure how im supposed to keep the pvc pipe on it... do you glue it to the rock or something....

JB Waterweld would be a cheap and temp solution. Any type of putty so you're sure that none pops off.

You've already got the rock out of the tank, you could also affix it with fishing line or something like that. Be creative with it if you want. Just something temporary to keep it in place for a few days. Almost anything will do, but I recommend against ANY glue that might drip on the nem and pretty much be an instant death sentence.
