Really struggling to get my flow right!

I have a Waterbox Frag 145 with 2x jabao slw 30's...One on each end slightly offset so flow is at the front and back of tank. This still connects together in the middle and i can see it sort of swirling in the middle.
However, the flow still doesnt lift any detritus/fish poo off the sand bed and i have to physically stir it up to suspend it higher. Then it seems like it takes ages to get to over flow due to wavemakers pushing it away from it (middle overflow)

If i turn the flow up higher, my hammer and goni get blasted.

Does anyone have any tips on what i could do to solve this?

Maybe experiment with different flow modes? Like surge mode but keep the timers different..

Ive tried every mode on the jabao and the Wave 2 mode is what i stuck with as to not blast the corals. But that still doesnt lift the detritus etc. On the surge mode, when it reaches 100% it is WAY to much lol.

Kind of regretting getting a shallow tank now

hmm.. you might need a couple aux pumps or just one to aid in getting the flow a little better where you need it..

how many gallons is that kind of tank? Maybe think about a gyre, that moves water like a pump cant.

yeah... maybe a gyre on one side and both of the jabao's on the other side? his tank is a low long deal.. build thread in his sig.
