Can't Shake the Microbubbles in my Reefer 250

My Reefer 250 has been up for 4 months now and over the past two weeks I've been getting a lot of microbubbles in my DT. I have an RO 150-SSS skimmer and a VarioS-6 return pump. I've moved the skimmer output away from the baffles and have the black sponge between the baffles as well. I also have an ATS feeding from the manifold. This dumps back into the area where the overflow feeds into. I have it set to a very low flow so that no bubbles are going back into the sump. I'm just at a loss as to how I can get rid of these bubbles. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Just load up your sump with Aquapapa Bio Sponge Filter Cut-To-Fit Pad for Aquarium Fish Tank Koi Sump Reef - or similar. The more the better. Don’t clean it often either as that isn’t necessary. The sponge media will stop the bubbles before they pass through to your return pump.

I feel your pain. I'm having the same issue on my 750 with my NYOS 160 skimmer while it's breaking in. The foam sponge in the baffles is doing nothing to slow them down but it is a coarser sponge also. Maybe a sponge with smaller cells would help for now.

They have subsided quite a bit once I slowed down my ATS return flow substantially. But they still come and go.
