I'm not sure if this should be here or the zoa forum. I figured it's kind of a "nooby" question...

BUT I'm consfused by how much light my zoas need. I've been "light acclimating" them for a bit, and they're all about half way up my tank now (29g cube). My Miami Vice and Captain America are having a hard time getting their colors... Does this mean I should move them further up, or further down? Running 2xPAR38s 14k.

Also, at this current position, my other zoas are still holding their color (super radioactive dragon eyes, snowflower, and a few others)

Thanks for your help guys!

Maybe I'll try them back on the sand bed and see how they look after a few days... (sick of things knocking them off the rock anyway)

i noticed when i mounted mine to something solid where they stayed the condition improved 100%. the color may not come back in a week it might take a month or more. mine didnt get thier final colors for about 4 months. now they grow like crazy and i havent found a nicer colony.

Where is yours placed in the tank? I'm wiling to glue them, I just want them to be happy with where I decide to stick them =p

How are the zoas doing?? Any improvement in the colors?

The Miami Vice seem to be coloring up a bit, but my Captain America's still look very dull =/
I almost glued them the other night, but I added a new zoa frag to the tank that refuses to open. I didn't want to glue them until I could glue them all heh.
