Captive bred clams?

ORA cultures clams. They have derasa, gigas, crocea, squamosa, as well as hippopus clams. I'm not sure who carries them. Here's a link to their clam page:

I know of mariculture operations for sure. I can't say one way or another on true aquaculture operations, though. Maybe maximus clammus can chime in here.

ORA owns an island somewhere in the s.pacific i believe where they culture the clams.

i sell ora clams and have a few instock as well as getting ready to order more.

there is actually a guy that raises tridacnid clams but i dont remember who does it
it was in the mid west or somewhere in that area

*ugh ive been through page after page and i cant find it
i remember reading it and was like thats freakin crazy!!!

No it isn't possible, clams go through many stages and they would be filtered out very early in their life.
It is possible in the right system... many of the "maricultured" calms are actually raceways inland where they're bred.

But bred in systems like we have, not possible.

Yes the question was worded "tank raised" to me that means in the home aquarium.

At the clam farms they have large raceways that have a constant feed of new water being pumped out of the ocean.

Here are a few photo's I dug up:
