SDGuy, really like the angle you got on those shots. Yes the OOF foreground is a bit distracting, but the scenes work. I'd like to see a closer version of the third image. Looks like it could be a very strong image.

Get closer and take portions of the reef. Your angle/distance is allowing considerable flare from the lights. No, I don't know what tank it is. Should I?

For this challenge, those shots are too close and too much out of focus. Part of the Rule of Thirds is to decide what is important in an image and put that at one of the thirds. In the first one, it looks like the milli is the main subject, but it's centered too much. In the other two, it's not clear what you want to dominate the image.
Assuming those are from your display, I'm going to have fun tomorrow.

1200g display at culvers here in bloomington. you were here last year.
I remember it. Quite a display. Never got a chance to photograph it. Was too busy helping others take pictures. Guess I'll have to make a return trip.

OK, I tried that same camera angle in my new tank (post move/upgrade) with almost the same rock structure...
Oh and maybe this one follows the rules? Too bad the color of that ric right behind the table acro ruins the outline of the acro...
