Anyone else find that their Candy Apple Reds grow at a glacial pace? I've had them for at least a year now and they are the slowest growing polyp I have for the size of the colony. They always look happy, eat mysis like a champ, but have only sprouted maybe a polyp every 2 months out a of 14 polyp colony. I guess this is why they hold their value pretty well? Thoughts?

Thats crazy i had mine from the beginning of september with only 2 and a baby....and now i have 9!!! They are eating brine everytime i feed so maybe thats why but mine seem to be growing pretty quickly.....Whats your placement?? I have high light and medium flow.

Yea I feed mine mysis every few days and mine started as 2 polyps about 4 months ago and now i have 10-12 polyps plus some babies.

Mine grow well but really hate being fragged. Same with my everlasting gobstoppers, frag them and they look terrible for a week.

Similar for me. Started with 3 + a baby on October 12 or so and now 3 +5 or more babies. I feed them cyclopeeze or brine maybe every third day.

My CAR grow 2-3 new heads each month. My slow grower has been my single polyp of Spiderman. It's been 1 year and still 1 polyp.

LOL, talk about opposites. I started with 5 polyps of spiderman less than a year ago and I'm probably over 100 counting all the frags I've made. Go figure... I think I got 10 polyps of CAR about 4 months earlier and maybe up to 18 total. Mine are in high light and med-high flow. Maybe I'll try brine on them.
