carberryi anthias won't eat

I could use some suggestions. I had a trio of carberryi anthias that ate fine. 2 jumped out unfortunately. I have since added screens.
I have another carberryi to the tank...much bigger than the original 3.

Problem is the new one will not eat. I have tried frozen mysis, enriched brine, baby brine, cyclopes, pellets, and flakes.
Tried soaking in farlic as well. Will take frozen shrimp then spits it back out.

Hiya, how long has the fish been like this? And did you see it eat at the LFS?
Kent makes a formula called garlic extreme, and it worked for me when I had a stubborn anthias.

I got the anthias from live aquaria. Been in my tank for 9 days. Have garlic guard on hand, with no luck

darn, you are in a pickle. Usually galic by Kent's put on frozen foods works. Ok , Try Live brine shrinp or live mysis. After that I am stumped. Egg crate will work better than screen and will last longer. GOOD LUCK

Thanks. I'll try some live brine. First trio took to frozen right away. This one is being stubborn

I would also try live black worms. They can help to get a finicky eater to eat.

Friend suggested black worms too. Don't know of any place local to get some.

You might be able to get them from a store that sells live bait or you can order them online.

I havent found anthias to be enticed by blackworms personally. The best bet is newly hatched live baby brine, I have also found feeding flying fish eggs from an asian grocery store to be eaten quite readily by picky eaters.

No luck finding blackworms locally or live brine.
Did pick up oyster feast...been wanting to try for corals anyways.

Thinking about ordering brine shrimp eggs and hatching myself.
May try out fish eggs too.
