Carbon block filter replacement?

I just replace both carbon/sedament filters in my ro/di system for the first time. How long should I let the system run to flush the new filters out? Google search has instructions ranging from 1 hour to a full day :mad:

I remember running mine for 2 hours when I replaced mine. I purchased mine off of BRS but don't remember the brand. Just make sure to not run the water through to the RO membrane since it'll get clogged if you do.

Ah .... I never thought about that! Just removed the RO membrane hope the last 30 minuets didn’t just kill it! ;Muted

I run it until the tds meters show 0 on the output... 5 gallons or so...
