Have a KENT 4 stage Hi-S rodi system. Went to change my carbon block. The block only came with 1 rubber gasket on top. Can’t recall from before, is there suppose to be a gasket on the bottom also?? Seems without the water will flow into the center at the top and right out the bottom without going through the carbon.

I believe you are correct, there should be a gasket on the top and bottom based off the replacement unit picture

So I just tried with the old one off the top of the prior block. It pushes the whole thing up a tad and you can’t get a good deal at the top. Just pours out. I found some clorine test strips and it tests 0 so I guess it’s ok. Does not make sense to me though.
