Hello,

Trying to bring nitrates down a bit. Currently at 20 ppm NO3 and 0.1 ppm PO4. I've been dosing about 50 mL of NOPOX in a system of about 300 gallons for two weeks. There has been no change in nitrates. Should I give this dose more time or increase further past the Red Sea recommended dose?

Any help would be appreciated. Just frustrated that the numbers won't budge. I know 20 NO3 isn't necessarily that high.

Thanks!

I think it takes 3-4 weeks to see results... Hopefully some Squad Members can chime in here..

Give it some time. Skimming a bit wet can help remove bacteria fed by the carbon.

Take it slow!
