Does carbon dosing affect AFR? Started dosing vinegar 7 days ago, currently at 8ml daily in 60 gallon tank. My KH was rock solid at 8 but now has dropped to 6.7. Tank is SPS dominated

Except as driving bacteria will increase the need for trace elements, there is no direct impact with AFR.

Could we add a carbon source directly to the A4R solution to eliminate the need for a separate dosing pump?

Any potential negative side effects?
