I've been vinegar dosing my 30G since essentially Day 30. I just upgraded (at 4 months) to a 55 and swapped everything over + some more sand and dry rock. Question is, my maint. dose was 21.5 ML in the 30. Do I continue at the same 21.5, or bump across straight to the 55 same "week" maintanence dose from the reefkeeping magazine article? That would be right at 24ML. Or just continue with the 21.5ML?

Now I realize there is a TON of room for error, and I'm probably safe dumping in 30ML until the water gets cloudy, but rather than take that risk.. and to get it out of the way for future endeavors, what's the verdict on such a move? :)

(FWIW on day 2 of the 55 I am having some cyano issues, but I lost a pump in the move, it suddenly decided it wanted to make a racket that would drive a woodpecker insane) < In case that makes a difference.

I'd wait and check the nitrates first and see where they are if still up i would go ahead and increase the next dose according to your tank size if not wait till you see ans increase in nitrate levels.

Thanks randy! Will do. Bio-load is very minimal right now. I'll bump it up when I start adding fish and corals as the need arises then. :D
