Carbon dosing

I'm having trouble with hair algae and I do water changes every 2 weeks and I think that it's coming from over feeding corals and I was wondering what's the best thing to use for carbon dosing and what I need to do

I know a lot of of people using brs rox 0.8. You can put that in a reactor or a bag.

What are your po4 and no3? Carbon dosing works good for no3. I did vinegar dosing on my old tank, it dropped my nitrates to 0 so my phosphates started rising pretty quickly. If your issue is po4 then carbon dosing won't help much unless you also start dosing no3 along with carbon.
